TankSure®

Atlas Glen-mor now offers a new and valuable service called TankSure®, a first in the industry. In partnership with Boston Environmental, we use high-tech ultrasonic testing equipment and tank analysis software to monitor and test your above-ground fuel storage tank as a regular maintenance service. We thoroughly inspect your tank each year and determine if, and when, it should be replaced. For qualified tanks, we provide two different levels of protection. Our original TankSure® program will provide up to $1,000 toward possible future tank replacement. Our newest program, Total Tank Protection, will cover the complete replacement of a standard oil tank! In many cases, our analysis enables us to replace your tank before it’s even susceptible to leaks.

C.A.R.E.® Environmental Protection Program

Because most homeowner's insurance doesn’t cover clean-up of accidental fuel oil releases on your property, we offer a special environmental protection plan. C.A.R.E. stands for Clean Up for Accidental Release to the Environment and covers up to $100,000 of damages including labor and required materials if your tank leaks oil into the ground. Accidental fuel oil releases are uncommon, but some tanks do leak. Clean up can be expensive, often costing thousands of dollars. C.A.R.E. provides valuable protection for above-ground oil tanks for only pennies a day.

New Massachusetts State Law
New state law requires home insurers to offer special coverage to oil heat homes that comply with certain safety protocols. Chapter 453 requires your oil line from tank to burner must be encased in a protective sleeve or have an oil safety valve by September 30, 2011.
