Introducing
Bioheat®
as a portion of the heating oil you
consume… presently at no additional cost
to what you pay for your heating oil
from Atlas Glen-mor.
We’d like to inform you about a
renewable fuel resource that helps
heating oil burn cleaner, making it both
healthier for the environment and your
home heating system.
The fuel is appropriately labeled
Bioheat®.
It is derived primarily from refined
soybean oils, but other agricultural
products, and the technologically
advanced recycling of cooking oils may
grow in diversified use. Virtually all
the Bioheat®
we use
within the fuel delivered to your home
is derived from soybean oil.
It helps heating oil burn cleaner within
your boiler or furnace. That means it’s
better for the environment. |
|
 |
 |
Because it’s
agricultural, it’s a renewable resource.
|
|
| |
 |
Bioheat®
in pure form is non-toxic and
biodegradable. |
|
| |
 |
Soybeans and
similar plants are grown the world over,
but the U.S. produces the most soybeans
of any nation. It’s fairly easy to grow,
so our production can increase.
|
|
| |
 |
Since
soybeans are grown domestically, Bioheat®
can do its part to lessen our reliance
on foreign oil imports. |
|
| |
 |
Soy-based
Bioheat®
is very
adaptable. It can be blended with
heating oil from both domestic and
foreign sources. |
|
| |
 |
Bioheat's®
sister product “biodiesel” is a
widespread and uniformly accepted fuel
throughout the trucking industry
nationwide. Major carriers use biodiesel
within their fleets. |
|
| |
 |
Oilheat with
a Bioheat®
blend is
delivered to your home storage tank in
the customary manner. |
|
| |
 |
Once blended
with today’s lower sulfur Oilheat
product, the resulting product burns
just as reliably and efficiently as
conventional Oilheat—even more so—within
your present heating system.
